A motley crew of people shelters in the back room of a run-down pub, singing songs and spinning stories whilst they wait for a storm to pass. But when an unexpected visitor shows up uninvited, the night takes a rather interesting turn…
Silver Tongue is a queer, musical adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, which challenges the male-centric narrative of heroes and happy endings. Framed through the eyes of a female Long John Silver, it tells a different version of what happened on that infamous treasure hunt.
With a swashbuckling score by Alec Steedman and an imaginative book by Miranda Middleton, Silver Tongue is a new Australian musical about misfits finding a place where they belong
