What we are looking for:

The Play Reads Initiative Program is currently seeking local actors to participate in a reading/development of a new play called REDEMPTION by Mandy Vicsai. We will be reading the play to an invited audience, followed by a discussion and feedback session about the work. Talent Required

About us:

The Play Reads Initiative Program is a new project that aims to help emerging and mid-career playwrights to develop original Australian scripts and tell important Australian stories. It is run by a group of local artists and led by writer, architect and photographer Pasquale Palmieri. Through this monthly reading series we hope to give writers an opportunity to hear their scripts read aloud (often for the first time) as well as give them constructive feedback to help them develop their work. We also hope to build a community of local actors and artists to participate in these readings.
